On Saturday, May 16 and Sunday, May 17, the event organized by Slow Food Monteregio returns to Massa Marittima, set in the beautiful venue of the Ex Convento delle Clarisse, celebrating the region’s finest food and wine traditions.
On Saturday, May 16 at 5:00 PM, the conference “Food and Oncological Diseases: The Role of Nutrition in Prevention and the Treatment Journey” will take place, followed by a dinner organized by the Slow Food Monteregio at Osteria da Tronca.

Sunday, May 17 will be dedicated to the market exhibition.

10:00 AM – Opening ceremony in the presence of the Mayor of Massa Marittima and the President of Slow Food Toscana, Massimo Rovai.
11:00 AM – Presentation of the 2026 Extra Virgin Olive Oil Guide, with the awarding of certificates to local producers recognized in the guide.
11:00 AM – “Taste Encounters”: a walk among the producers’ stands, organized during the First National Weekend of “A Scuola per Abitare,” the widespread cultural event promoted by La Scatola di Latta, a national network of people and organizations dedicated to civic and poetic ways of inhabiting local communities.
12:30 PM – Lunch with the students of Istituto Bernardino Lotti: visitors will be able to enjoy dishes prepared by students from the school’s Food and Wine program. The students will also manage the bar service, which will remain open throughout the event.
3:30 PM – Free masterclass: “Chestnut Flour & Labels: Nutritional Quality and Conscious Choices,” led by Dr. Patrizia Salusti, consultant and lecturer in Agro-food Supply Chain Quality.
5:30 PM – Performance by the flag throwers and musicians of the Società dei Terzieri di Massa Marittima, who will perform in the outdoor garden.
